Each of the ethnic groups in Alberta identify with certain places of historical and cultural significance
to their community. These places are often towns or districts where groups of people of the same ethnic
origin settled together, centres of religious worship, or various other places where community
activity or organization have taken place. These places obviously differ from group to group and within
the individual groups themselves. Here we would like to share with
you the stories of some of the places within the province that
hold special meaning for the Ukrainian Canadian community in Alberta.
