Members of the Italian Women's Society present at the Gala 2001 held November 17, 2001.  The Italian Women's Society of Santa Maria Goretti Church works to to promote awareness of Italian culture in the Italian community, as well as present annual awards to individuals for their contribution to the community.  The Society was formed in 1986 by  Father Augusto Feccia, former Pastor of the Santa Maria Goretti Parish in Edmonton, along with the National Congress of Italian Canadians, Edmonton District, and other Italian societies and organizations.
