Trans Canada AirlinesThere was a great increase in national and international air travel. TCA saw an expansion from 21,569 passengers in 1939 to 183,121 in 1945. In the same time frame, TCA increased the distances it was flying from 4.8 million kilometires to over 18.4 million kilometres in 1945, with an increase from 497 employees to 3,272.
