Bush Pilots

Fairchild 71CCivil aviation companies found the Fairchild 71-C useful in northern bush flying, providing service for carrying freight into mineral exploration sites and mining sites that were still under development. The aircraft were also a reliable choice for those who wanted to carry passengers and airmail.

Some civilian companies that used the Fairchild were Mackenzie Air Service, Trans Canada Airway, and Canadian Airways.
