Skis or Floats

Fairchild 71C The Fairchild 71-C was developed specifically for Canadian aviation companies and the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). The Fairchild 71-C had a larger fuselage, wing and engine, making it ideal for travel into the Canadian bush.

Skis and floats were easily fitted onto the aircraft, allowing it to operate effectively in remote regions of wilderness where no airfields existed in the 1930s.
