Jets developed for the military during the post-Second World War
era are still in use today. Many of them have entered the
pop-culture lexicon, celebrated and romantizied by the mass
media.
The First and Second World Wars rapidly advanced avionics on
the international stage, proving the potential of winged
warfare. In the future, Military resources will continue to be
allocated towards producing the quietest, highest-flying, most
efficient and fastest aircraft possible at any given time. One
need only dream of the possibilities.
Aircraft developed during this time post-war period would
have seemed like science fiction not so long ago.
