Description: 1. A device of the character described comprising a pair of companion shanks cross pivoted together, each of said shanks having lifting jaw members attached thereto in co-operating relationship, said jaw members being in the form of laterally extending bent wires adapted for engagement of the peripheral portion of a circular cooking utensil.
2. A device of the character described comprising a pair of companion shanks cross pivoted together to provide handle portions and relatively longer blade portions, hand grips secured to the handle portions, and lifting jaw members attached to the blade portions in co-operating relationship, said jaw members being in the form of laterally extending bent wires adapted for engagement of the peripheral portion of a circular cooking utensil.
3. A device of the character described comprising a pair of companion shanks cross pivoted together, said shanks having lifting members attached thereto in co-operating relationship, each of said lifting members being formed of a single piece of material capable of being bent to provide spaced apart legs attachable to said shanks and a connecting section bent to form a jaw adapted to engage a pie plate or like article.
4. A device of the character described comprising a pair of companion shanks cross pivoted together, said shanks having lifting members attached thereto in co-operating relationship, each of said lifting members being formed of a single piece of material capable of being bent providing spaced apart legs attachable to said shanks, outwardly diverging portions, and connected lateral portions in parallel relationship with said legs adapted to provide a supporting jaw member for reception of the peripheral portion of a pie plate or like article.
