1. A foldable sign for road work and the like comprising in combination a ground engaging support, a sign board pivotally connected to adjacent the upper end of said support and pin means coacting between said support and said sign board to maintain said sign board at right angles to said support when in the operative position or parallel to said support when in the collapsed position.

2. A foldable sign for road work and the like comprising in combination a pair of ground engaging supports, a sign board pivotally secured to adjacent the upper ends of said support and adjacent the ends of said sign board, and pin means coacting between each of said supports and said sign board adapted to maintain said sign board at right angles to said support when in the operative position and parallel to said support when in the collapsed position.
