Claim.—1. A folding ironing board and cabinet, the side rails of which cabinet have on their inner sides, longitudinal slots or grooves, terminating at the upper end in horizontal slots or grooves, for the purpose of retaining a cross member secured to the ironing board, and having •also on their inner sides, near the bottom, holes to accommodate the lower ends of a double brace.

2. A folding ironing board and cabinet, the side rails of which cabinet are provided with a combined lug and locking device, tone purpose of which is to fasten the cabinet securely in place, by means of a screw passed through said lug, and 'also to receive a steel cross member secured to the inner end of the ironing board, thereby holding the board in a horizontal working position, and hearing the strain of .the outward pull of 'the board whale in that position.

3. A folding ironing board and cabinet, the side rails of which cabinet are provided with a combined lug and locking device, the purpose of which is to fasten the cabinet securely in place, by means of a screw passed through said lug and also to receive a wood cross member secured to the inner end of the ironing board, thereby holding the board in a horizontal working position, and bearing the strain of the outward pull of the board while in that position.
