Description:
The embodiments of the invention in which an exclusive property or privilege is claimed are defined as follows:

(1) A broom scraper combination comprising in combination with a broom head, a relatively thin scraper blade, said scraper blade including a front scraper edge and a rear edge, and a backing plate securable to the upper surface of said broom head for clamping said blade between said upper surface and said backing plate, said rear edge of said scraper being angulated downwardly, said broom head having a plurality of spaced and parallel slots formed in the upper surface thereof, anyone of said slots being engageable by said down turned edge.

(2) The device according to Claim 1 in which the upper surface of said broom head is curved, said scraper blade being curved similarly so that said scraper blade nests upon said broom head upper surface.

(3) The device according to Claims 1 or 2 in which said backing plate includes a handle socket adapted to detachably receive a broom handle.
