Grant MacEwan College continues its tradition of being a vibrant, innovative educational institutional with a wide range of diverse programs, diplomas, and degrees. With a full and part-time staff of over 3,300 Grant MacEwan College is one of Edmonton's largest employers. As of 2008, the school is home to over 54,000 alumni. Today, Grant MacEwan offers:

As of 2006, the school introduced the simple designation of MacEwan (dropping the word College) to reflect the school's shift towards academic programs more commonly associated with Canadian universities. Grant MacEwan College consists of four distinct campuses scattered across Edmonton, each campus offering different programs and courses. Construction on the City Centre Campus began in 1991 and was built on the former site of the Canadian National rail yards. It has since witnessed a number of large additions including the Robbins Health Learning Centre, opening in the fall of 2007. City Centre Campus also hosts the Centre for Sport and Wellness, a world-class facility consisting of a large gymnasium and swimming pool among other amenities.

The Centre for Arts and Communication (formerly known as the Jasper Place Campus) is located at 10045 - 156 Street in Edmonton's west end. The campus focuses on performing, visual and communication arts. Programs include professional writing, journalism, fine arts, theatre arts, theatre production and music. The Centre for Arts and Communication employs state-of-the-art equipment and technology to enhance the overall learning experience. Present on campus are a 16-track digital recording studio, John L. Haar Theatre, set design facilities, 7 computer labs and photo editing studios.

The South Campus located in the residential neighborhood of Mill Woods was opened in 1976. The spacious facility focuses on a number of different programs including a degree in child and youth care, health related initiatives, social work, and various business oriented programs.
