The Aboriginal Youth Identity Edukits series has been created to satisfy the need for information about Aboriginal history and culture in Alberta. The Aboriginal Edukits series is a tool for introducing multi-media technology into the classroom. Current curriculums touch lightly on the contributions and history of Aboriginal Peoples as homogenous. The Aboriginal Edukit series focuses primarily on the Blackfoot, Cree, Dene, and Métis of Alberta highlighting similarities and differences the make each culture unique. Please visit www.edukits.ca for more information on the Aboriginal Edukit series.
