Allison Peak

The name Allison Peak was officially approved for this 2643 m peak 22 July 1915. M.P. Bridgland (see Mount Bridgland) submitted the name for the memory of Douglas Allison, a former Royal North West Mounted Policeman who was an early settler in this area. This mountain is also known locally as "The Needle's Eye."

Approximately 16 km north-west of Coleman, on the Alberta-B.C. boundary.
