Alford Creek
Category : Creek | |
This locally well-established name was officially applied to this feature in 1976. Bert Alford was a trader who often drove his herds of cattle to graze on meadows through which this creek runs. This creek is also locally referred to as Seneca Creek due to the quantity of Seneca roots which are said to grow on the banks and occasionally used in folk medicine. |
