Alice, Lake

This lake was named in 1898 by the Reverend Harry P. Nichols (1850-1940), after his wife. Reverend Nichols was rector of Holy Trinity Church in New York from 1899-1902. He was one of the founders of the American Alpine Club and climbed in the area at the turn of the century. Little is known of Alice Nichols.

Approximately 85 km north-west of Banff.
