Beaverdam Pass

This pass was named on the Jobe-Phillips map (see Avalanche Pass), as there was evidence of beaver-dams and houses at the time of exploration in 1914. By the time of the Interprovincial Boundary Survey (1918-1924), there was no longer any sign of the beaver, which had either been trapped out or left the area.

Approximately 61 km south-west of Grande Cache, on the Alberta-B.C. boundary.
