Crowell

This railway point was been named after Frederick Crowell, an employee of Northern Alberta Railways. Mr. Crowell was born in 1887 and was employed by the Edmonton, Dunvegan and British Columbia Railway in 1916 as a fireman. By the time he retired in 1952, he was a well-known and respected engineer from the McLennan area. The name for the railway point was officially adopted in 1980. |
