Research, development and Publication of Ontario's Petroleum Legacy would not have been possible without the support of the following organizations and individuals.

Heritage Community Foundation The Heritage Community Foundation is a charitable Trust committed to connecting people with heritage. The Foundation has focused on research and print and web publications ont all aspects of the historical, natural, cultural, scientific and technological heritage.
Canadian Petroleum Hall of Fame Canadian Petroleum Hall of Fame was created in 1997 to establish an annual process by which significant contributions to the petroleum industry can be recognized, honoured and celebrated. Each year, the search for nominations begins anew, and with the selection of that year’s inductees, new dimensions of the historical record are captured.
Fairbank Oil Fairbank Oil - Created in 1861 by John Henry Fairbank, Fairbank Oil has been supplying oil to Imperial Oil and, for a period in the 1890s, was the largest producer of oil in Canada. Charlie Fairbank, owner of Canada’s oldest oil company, continues to run his Great Great Grandfather’s business. He operates his wells in an environmentally sensitive manner and the family's holdings are part of a site in Lambton County, Ontario, that is seeking UNESCO World Heritage Site designation.
The Petroleum History Society The Petroleum History Society comprises a group of volunteers dedicated to preserving Canada's petroleum industry history. Using a combination of written and oral history, they attempt to preserve and archive history. They also educate others about the history of the oilpatch through radio programs, scholarships and planned events.
June Warren Publishing June Warren Publishing produces industry-leading monthly trade magazines targeting the upstream oil and gas industry in western Canada and beyond. Petroleum Weekly has been published since the 1950s.
