Legislative Assembly

Each province in Canada has its own government. They are called Provincial governments. Provincial governments meet in an important building called a legislature or assembly. We have a legislature here in Edmonton because the Provincial government is located here. The people who meet in the legislature are called members. These members meet to discuss provincial laws and other things. You can go on tours of the building, and if you’re lucky you might get to sit and watch and listen to their meetings.
