Bar U Ranch

This famous ranch is in southern Alberta close to the Rocky Mountains. It is also called the North-West Cattle Company. The Bar U Ranch was a favourite place to stop for visitors from England and eastern Canada because they had never seen a cattle ranch that big and it was a place where real cowboys lived and worked. All the cattle were branded (almost like a tattoo) with the famous U brand!
