Canadian Pacific Railway

This is the most well known railway in Canadian history because it was the first to go from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean. It joined all the provinces and helped make Canada a Nation. The CPR took a long time to build, and many workers died building it. In 1885 Donald Smith, Lord Strathcona, pounded in the last spike and the Canadian Pacific Railway was finished.
