Ecosystems E + ko + sis + tim

In an ecosystem all things in the environment, living and non-living, interact and bring about changes in one another. Every plant and animal affects the lives of those around them. Human beings are included in ecosystems; so that means you are part of an ecosystem. Different places in the world have different ecosystems. For example, you won't find an elephant or tropical rain forest in Alberta, unless you go to a zoo!

Every living thing is part of an ecosystem.
