Edna Star Settlement

A settlement is a new community where people "settle" down and build houses and other things they need to live. The Edna Star settlement is the oldest Ukrainian settlement in Canada. Ukrainian people started to move to Alberta, in 1891, from the Ukraine in Europe. The Edna Star settlement is located in Chipman, Alberta.
