Elementary Flying Training School

This was a school that taught elementary school students how to fly! Just kidding, it was actually a school designed for the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan to give future pilots basic flying training during World War II.

The former site of Royal Air Force (RAF) Station Bowden, No. 32 Elementary Flying Training School is now owned by Canada Correctional Services and is the home of the Bowden penitentiary.
