Fishing

Fishing in Alberta is very popular. Over the years the number of fish in Alberta has gotten smaller. This is because there are more people fishing, the water is polluted, and the environment is being destroyed. People who fish a lot have started to use a "catch and release" method of fishing to help save the fish population. That means you catch the fish and then put them back in the water. We also have fish farms in Alberta where fish are grown and used to stock ponds, lakes, streams, and rivers.
