Red-tailed Chipmunks

Red-tailed chipmunks are usually found in Idaho and Montana (USA) but there are a few in Alberta. These chipmunks like to live in the forests because the trees offer seeds for food and nests for homes. Their coat ranges in colour from light to dark gray on the back, belly, and rump, the shoulder and sides are reddish in colour, and the underside of the tail is bright orange or rust.
