Reforestation re + forest + A + shun

Reforestation has been the law in Alberta since 1966. When lumber companies cut down (harvest) all the trees in an area, they need to be replaced. Reforestation is when trees are planted to replace harvested trees. This is important because trees and plants give us the oxygen we need to survive.
