Western Spiderwort

This is a plant not a spider that creeps and crawls. This plant only grows in four places in Canada. One place in Alberta, one in Saskatchewan, and two places in Manitoba have been found to support spiderwort. Western spiderwort normally flowers from May to July. Each flower lasts only one day. Because these plants are so rare they are listed as at risk of disappearing in Alberta.
