Bombing and Gunnery School (B&GS)

A school that existed in the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan to train men to become air bombers or air gunners, it included air firing practice. Training took eight weeks at the B&GS and then at the Air Observer School for 12 weeks. These men were qualified as both bomb aimers and navigators.
