The Edmonton branch of the Trevisani nel Mondo was founded in 1985:
to promote, facilitate and aid the Cultural Heritage of the Treviso Province in the Veneto Region of Italy;
to promote humanitarian care for the needs of its members and of members of the community at large;
to visit the elderly and the sick;
to arrange musical and dramatic entertainment and lectures on social, educational, economic and other subjects;
to promote, among members and their families, Christian values and participation in religious functions open to the whole Italian Community in Edmonton.
The Edmonton branch has associations with the Headquarters Association in Treviso (Italy) and other affiliated Associazione Trevisani nel Mondo world-wide.
