Women of Aspenland Edukit

The Heritage Community Foundation is creating related teaching and learning materials to accompany all of its websites. The Women of Aspenland Edukit is based on rich historical events, experiences and realities of the Aspenland region.

This Edukit uses documents, photographs, oral histories, artifacts, historic events and sites as a way of nourishing a sense of connectedness with historical and cultural experiences. These materials include lesson plans, units of study, activities, timelines, and webquests based on the Alberta programs of study. The content featured online has been developed with and for teachers and students.

Along with the Women of Aspenland Edukit we have a number of other Heritage Edukits. They are accessible through the Edukits.ca website at http://www.edukits.ca.
