SADIRON
Sadiron has attached handle.

Pointed at both ends. Has a place for attachment of handle but no handle with it.

Saltshaker
Glazed ceramic salt shaker with blue trim and a decorative blue and white around the middle. There are numerous holes along the sides and top of the shaker head, and a 1cm hole in the base for filling. the shaker. There are two large chips on the base and many of the holes are chipped and discoloured.
SAUCEPAN
Enamelled saucepan has pouring spout and handle with hole at end. It is chipped and stained.

Used to set teeth on a hand saw. Every other tooth is bent one way; saw is turned and remainder of teeth are bent in the opposite direction.

Scale
The analytical balance was the most sensitive and accurate of all scales & balances at the time. It was used for weighing very small quantities of chemicals or medicinal substances.

SCALE, BALANCE
Metal scale painted black with red and gold trim, has a brass finial in the centre. One support on scoop end is broken off and missing. Scale comes with five weights, one scoop and one dish. Restored by Rollie Boulet in 1974.
Scarf
Handwoven white scarf. Woven in herringbone design. Fringe, on both ends is an extension of warp threads. Label sewn on the end is white with blue writing, and a picture of a star and a sailboat (see image).
SCOOP
Scoop has thumb grip, looped handle and is cracked, chipped and rusted.
scrapbook
014 School exercise book used for keeping records for the Harmattan Hockey Club. C.A.H.L. 1957-1958 records of scores, team standings, player standings, goalkeeper’s, records. This book pertains mainly to the Olds Elks, but there are also records of the National, Western, Allan Cup and Junior Leagues for the year ending 1958.
