Wagon Wheel Hub
This hub was from the Todd Family covered wagon. They were the first settlers of Alix Alberta, arriving in 1901.
Walkins Ginger Can
In the early 1930's Mr Frank Graham came to Alix from Calgary, and started a Walkins route in that area. Through hard times and good the farming population could depend on Frank to call with their spices, feed, linaments, etc… and in these days many a meal was given to this man of the road.

Wall Telephone
This oak wall telephone was originally owned by Marge Ludvigsson in 1911
WALLET
Three sectioned wallet overlaps into rectangle shape having a pocket at each end and billfold in the centre.
Wallet
Black leather, billfold type wallet. The leather is pasted over paper to give it shape and stability. Two of the three compartments are made of this stiff black paper. Very worn. Leather has pulled away from paper backing at one end and at center.
WARMER, FOOT
Cylinder shaped pottery foot warmer has knob handle at one end and screw type stopper with dark brown leather washer attached. Bottom and one end are flat. Opening is built up to support threading.
WASHBOARD
Washboard with unfinished wood frame has inset glass scrubbing area and soap rest shelf at centre above glass. Numerouse white paint splotches on top and one side.

43.a Brass weights with 1 1/2 " diam. openings at each end. Two sides are held by 1/2 " screws. Inside openings are 4 mail-like points. Markings: (sides) 1 SURGRIP is worn and hardly readable. 43.b 2 " high iron weight. Base diam. 1 1/2 ". Top diam. 7/8 ". Inside is brass plate with nail-like inside surface which can be tightened by 3 screws on outside. Marking: (around top opening) C.M. FRANKLIN SERUM CO. DENVER. 43.c same as #43.a

Wheelchair has a black, steel frame with thin wooden slats.

WHIMSEY
Hinged card opens 360 degrees to make a three dimensional green tissue paper Christmas tree with red base. Ornament is torn at side where a clip should be in place to hold it together.
Whisk
Wooden handle is curved, as is the wire section. Wire section is composed of 3 wires, bent in the middle and curved.
Winston Churchill Tumbler
Head and shoulders of Winston Churchill in red. Figures of aviator, soldier and sailor in red. Red letters read "A Toast to Winston Churchill the man of the hour"
