Treaty Commission Trail

Remnants of Treaty Commission Trail (Treaty 8, 1899) Grouard to Peace River

Remnants of the Grouard - Peace River Trail. It was along this trail that Commissioner Laird traveled in the summer of 1899 to reach those First Nations people who had not yet adhered to Treaty No. 8, signed in Grouard on June 21 of that year.
