Fox Lake Indian Reserve No. 162

Category : Reserve
 

Named for its proximity to Fox Lake, this reserve is home to the Little Red River Cree Nation, the members of which have ancestral ties to the Woodland and Bigstone Cree at Wabasca. The chief entered into Treaty No. 8 on behalf of his people in 1899. This land was given to the band in 1909 and 1910.
