Gregoire Lake Indian Reserve No. 176

Category : Reserve

These reserves are named for their proximity to “Gregoire Lake” (officially known as Willow Lake since 1988.) Located near the community of Anzac, this is the largest and most heavily populated of the four that comprise the Fort McMurray Reserves that fall under Treaty No. 8. They trace their roots back to the Chipewyan and Cree. The members form part of the Fort McMurray No. 468 First Nation.
