Fort Whoop-Up

The recreated Fort Whoop-Up, at the Indian Battle Park in Lethbridge, Alberta. The original post was constructed by whiskey traders in 1869, and was named Fort Hamilton. Razed by the Blackfoot less than one year later, it was rebuilt in 1870 under the name Whoop-Up.
