The Mk V Norseman

Harold describes the Mk V Norseman aircraft that the RCMP used for its northern air service. It was a very reliable plane, and at the time was state of the art, with a Pratt and Whitney engine, spruce wing spars, a 10 channel hi frequency radio, and enough fuel to last for five hours of flying. It was an essential aircraft for many people in the bush country.
