Sister ships - US Mail DC3 and Los Angeles Western Air Express

A photograph of sister ships 1926 - 1941 US Mail DC3 and Los Angeles Western Air Express, Douglas World Cruiser. Presented to Captain James Bell for service rendered. The photo is framed in a black wooden frame measuring 19 inches by 17 inches. The inscription reads "To Capt. James A. Bell in appreciation of your service to aviation and especially for your generous support which has assisted Western Air Lines in becoming the first airline to complete fifteen years of continuous operation - April 17, 1926 to April 17, 1941"
