Olson Curling Supplies

Olson logoInvention runs in the Olson family, much like the sport of curling has remained an integral part of their business for more than 70 years. Founded in 1933 by accomplished athlete E.B. Olson, Olson Curling Manufacturing & Supplies Ltd. of Edmonton still produces and sells many of its own inventions. Olson built the first rubber curling hack in 1939, a product that laid the groundwork for decades of success. More recently, grandson David Herbut has patented many of his own inventions; modifications to the curling broom and curling shoes and many other Olson innovations have been added to the company’s product catalogue.
