Claim.—1. A tire protector comprising a plurality of abutting inner sections, a plurality of abutting outer sections, the joints of the outer sections being staggered with respect to the joints on the inner sections, hooks on the inner sections adapted to fit over and engage the outer sections, loops on the sides of the outer sections, and a flexible circular connecting member through all the loops.

2. A tire protector comprising a plurality of abutting inner sections, a plurality of abutting outer sections, the joints of the outer sections being staggered with respect to the joints on the inner sections, hooks on the inner sections adapted to fit over and engage the outer sections, loops on the sides of the outer sections, and a flexible circular connecting member extending through all the loops, the said outer sections being formed with transverse corrugations.
