Description: -- CLAIMS --
Having regard to the foregoing disclosure, the patent of which this specification forms part confers, subject to the conditions prescribed in the Patent Act, 1935, the exclusive right, privilege and liberty of making, constructing, using and vending to others to be used, the invention as defined in claims submitted by the patentee as follows:-

1. A lamp support of the character described, comprising a tubular column having a bottom flange adapted to be secured to the fender or other part of a vehicle, a post member interfitting with the said column, castellations projecting circumferentially from the top edge of said column, a pin projecting from said post for engagement in between said castellations to secure the post in a selected position when turned within the column, a spring braced between the column and the post internally, and a bracket on said post engaged with tiltable means attached to a lamp holder member.

2.A detachable lamp support for a beam-projecting lamp comprising a tubular flanged column for attachment purposes; a post slidable and rotatable within the upper end of said column, the column being castellated around its top edge for the reception of a pin projecting from the post, a spring within and tensioned between said column and said post, a lug-shaped bracket arm integral with said post and facially aligned with respect to the support axis, a pair of clamp lugs enclosing said lug-shaped bracket arm forming part of a lamp holder member, and means to clamp and look said three lugs together in varying lamp tiltable positions.

3. A detachable support for a spot lamp comprising a lamp supporting holder, a pair of lugs on said holder, a hollow post with a bracket-shaped single lug to engage between said pair of lugs, a manually operated screw bolt with wing nut for clamping said lugs together, a single notch in each said outer lug, the notches aligned with one another, a series of aligned notches in the single lug member for registration with the single notches in the two lugs on relative rotation of the contacting lugs, a latch bar slidably mounted on the said clamping bolt for engaging the related notches for lamp tilting, a tubular column in locking relationship with said post, slidable therewithin, through the engagement of a pin on the post with castellations in the column, a handle projecting from said post, a spring yieldably connecting said post and column to maintain their slidable connection against vibration, and a stop projecting from said column to bear against the single lug member to prevent the complete turning of the post, within the column.
