Uniform

CGIT Uniform top with CGIT Crest sewn on the left sleeve, six stripes each representing a year of attendance, and a maple leaf badge. On the right sleeve just above the cuff, there is another badge.
Item came from collection of Mrs. LaVerne Ortwein. LaVerne was in CGIT from 1934 until 1942 and when she moved to Olds in 1948 she became a leader of CGIT at the United Church. Vern and LaVerne were residents of Olds since their marriage. Vern a business man (Bird’s Electronics) and LaVerne a teacher.
