The photo is framed in a black wooden frame measuring 19 inches by 17 inches. The inscription reads "To Capt. James A. Bell in appreciation of your service to aviation and especially for your generous support which has assisted Western Air Lines in becoming the first airline to complete fifteen years of continuous operation - April 17, 1926 to April 17, 1941"

A Department of Transport - Student Pilot Permit - No XD-11322. The permit reads "This is to certify that Graham Howard Heard is properly qualified to exercise the privileges of a Student Pilot. This permit is valid only to 13 May 1968. This permit is issued subject to the conditions set forth on the reverse side hereof. Issued at Edmonton, Alberta. Date of Issue July 26, 1966 and it is signed by Graham Heard and by the representative for the Minister of Transport. The image management also includes a picture of the reverse side of the Student Pilot Permit.
