Since its inception, the University of Alberta has encompassed not only its immediate buildings and institutes, but also numerous other institutions, centres, and institutes that have joined forces with the University or become part of the larger University institution. Together, all of these entities define the University of Alberta and help shape its growth and success into the next century.
