Santa Maria Goretti Centre

As a
result of a broadly-based community volunteer effort involving Father
Augusto Feccia, Frank Cairo, Rudy Cavaliere, Carlo Amodio and many others, a
new Santa Maria Goretti Centre was completed in July 1986. It has become a
popular venue for meetings and reunions as well as weddings and baptisms.
The Sunday pranzo [ dinner] has become a popular gathering place after Mass
and the many courses served family style (platters of food are handed round)
ensure that everyone has their fill.
