blogs are OK, but what about a forum?

Hello everyone,
I've discoverd forums during the historical student strike in Quebec over a year ago. They are a great way of having a good discussion about specific subjects.
I've put one up on my EDA webpage at
www.vancouverquadragreenparty.ca/forums .
I would like to encourage everyone to have a look and participate. My objective is to have this forum (or something similar) on the GPC main website.

I would love for members and non-members of the party to be able to participate.

Sincerely,
Michelle Corcos

I agree

I agree. I'd like to see topic-oriented forums in addition to the blogs. For example, right now I'm looking around for comments about the online Campaign U sessions, because my session never materialized, although my hardware/software tested out fine. It would be nice to have a followup forum for that event.

We have had a whole range of forums on the members area

Lambton Kent Middlesex EDA (SW Ontario)

The purpose of blogs is to allow our discussions to be seen, ev en entered into by people who are outside of the party, no cost to read or even comment.
But on the members area we have for a long time had members only participation, and of course most members have been off working on a hundred other different foruls, totally unaware of each other.
We do not need more different forums, but a common set of topical forums that we all read, and may contribute to. We already have that and nobody seems to be aware of them?
