UWinnipeg Among Top Undergrad Universities in Canada:
First in the West for academic reputation

The University of Winnipeg continues to be one of Canada's top undergraduate universities, particularly in the area of academic excellence, according to the Globe & Mail 2007 Report Card, published Oct. 16. Students gave UWinnipeg top marks for quality of education and class sizes, and finished first among Western Canadian universities for academic reputation, quality of teaching and availability of public transportation.

Fulbright SigningUWinnipeg signs MOU with Prestigous Fulbright Program

The University of Winnipeg signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the prestigious Canada-US Fulbright Program on Sept. 28, 2007 to establish a Fulbright Visiting Chair at the Richardson College for the Environment at The University of Winnipeg. The Fulbright Chair will annually bring a US scholar to UWinnipeg who will focus on research pertaining to environmental issues.
