Manitoba Advanced Education and Literacy Minister Diane McGiffordUWinnipeg to Offer Graduate Studies Programs

The University of Winnipeg took a major step forward in its development as a university as the Province of Manitoba announced Sept. 7 its approval for the University to offer graduate studies programs. As a result, The University of Winnipeg plans to introduce four new graduate level programs, with the first of these beginning in the Fall of 2008.

UWinnipeg StudentTask Force Gives Vision & Action to Greater University Access

The University of Winnipeg's Access Task Force (ATF) released its final report Sept. 6 containing 16 initiatives to improve access to post-secondary education for low-income individuals. The group also outlined an action plan for the next 18-24 months to deliver these initiatives.
