Episode 75: Wilson Hall - Centre & Symbol

Since construction of the original building in 1882, Wilson Hall has played a crucial role in the life of the University, hosting exams, graduations and other ceremonies.  This week, Visions visits a new exhibition on the history of this iconic building.

More information

"Wilson Hall: Centre and Symbol of the University" explores the life of
the venerable building, from its inception in the mid-nineteenth
century, to the fire which destroyed the original building and finally
to the erection of the current contemporary building.

The exhibition
includes an animation of what the campus would have looked like in the
nineteenth century, as well as newly-obtained film of the original
Wilson Hall as it burned.
